Do you operate every day or on major holidays? Like many tour providers, we bet you don't. That is why it is important to make sure you are displaying the correct availability for your offerings. Editing your availability/capacity is one of the most important aspects in your account setup process and will ensure your customers can only make purchases for the days you are operating.
This feature also can come in handy for when you would like to change the capacity of either your rental equipment or the amount of spaces that are available for certain time periods. Often times, when tour providers are reaching their busy season, they may add additional seats/spaces to a given tour or they may increase the equipment they have available to rent. Rather than creating a new offering, you can simply change what is posted online to reflect the increases/decreases.
To change your availability/capacity follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to your "Dashboard" and click into the offering you are looking to edit availability.
2. Select the day you are looking to change and at the bottom of the page, there will be a section called "Item Availability," click on the yellow "Edit" icon.
3. You'll have the option to change the availability/capacity for just one day, or for a range of consecutive dates. If you would like to change the availability/capacity to zero, in the Add/subtract field enter a minus sign and the number of spots you have. Additionally, if you are looking to increase your availability/capacity for specific dates, here is where you would do so by entering the increase amount in the same field.
4. Hit "Set" to complete the edit. You will now be able to see the changes reflected when you toggle through the dates on the Dashboard.
**You will only be able to change your availability/capacity once you have activated your offering.
